I bought it for my eldest son. He really liked it. It's warm, comfy and with lots of pockets. The waterproof was not the greatest. Still, We got another one for my youngest. Good winter jacket.

Expectations about this producto: "more than happy". I use it for the winter and it does the trick for me.

It's a really nice bomber jacket and has a heavy feel with a little bulk to it. Has a ton of pockets inside and out. A true winter jacket

I purchased an extra large so coat would not be snug. I am 5'11" tall with slender to athelitic build build. Looks a tiny bit large, but perfect for wearing extra layers underneith. I love the grey color I chose and all the pockets the coat has. I have not worn it in extremely cold weather yet but feel warm on the days I have worn when temmp were in the 30s'.

Love how warm and stylish this coat is. I find it roomy enough for layering underneath, and it's got enough pocket space to hold a standard litter of kittens. The faux-fur part of the hood is detachable, for those wondering, though I prefer the extra wind-protection. I see excellent overall quality, though I do partially agree with some comments recommending switching the velcro pockets for snaps (velcro is wonderful until it wears out) -- and possibly using a 'heavier-duty' main zipper. I have not yet found the velcro to be a hindrance/sticking point with the sleeve cuffs, nor have I had an issue with the zipper. All in all, this is a great snow-proof winter coat that I intend to wear for the next decade and beyond. Getting it on sale at season-end sure didn't hurt either.

Use daily when temperatures fall below 32 degrees F. This is a very warm jacket. When the winds are 20 - 30 mph the hood is a great addition. Also like all of the pockets.

At 5 foot 5 inches tall waist is little long but it's no big deal. Had to order size large to fit chest and shoulders. Nature of the beast so to speak. Great warm and comfortable coat and enough pockets for most anything. Hood is very functional also.

This jacket is beautiful snd has a high quality feel. I can't wait to wear it in its intended environment. When you revise this jacket, strongly suggest to replace velcro with snaps!! In the first 5 minutes I snagged my right cuff on the storm flap velcro. Will have to be careful using the cargo pockets to avoid the same. I'm hoping it will be very warm also. I've ordered all my clothes from Eddie Bauer for the past 20 years, to include coats. I've owned 4-5 coats and after my last parka zipper failed (I put it in the dryer without zipping it, so that was on me), I ordered a down coat. The problem is that I deal with sub-zero temps throughout the winter and never felt that warm. Not with this coat. I feel toasty all the way down to -20 degrees. I can't recommend this coat enough/

The jacket does keep you warm. I did like the expandable fit at the waist and cuffs. Not a big fan of the velcro attachment inside the zipper flap, given the material (somewhat stiff) the jacket is made of, but I can live with it. I did purchase a second jacket in pine green. I am medium build, weigh 150lb, and was able to wear a hoodie underneath.

This is a warm and well made jacket. I have a lot of experience buying functional and warm outdoor equipment, and this jacket is among the favorites l've ever owned. The hood is very well constructed, and works great up and on your head or draped back fully zipped up. The velcro is indeed tenacious, and the pockets are sized well and plentiful. I wore this on a four mile dog walk last weekend at 2° above zero, and halfway through the walk l had to take it off and carry it for a while as l got too warm. The best use for this jacket is in cold conditions where you're not really doing much. Great jacket to wear in the car on a cold day where you're in and out. I am so pleased l bought this jacket, and l will have it for YEARS to come.

I bought this coat for my wife, who is very picky when it comes to coats. She found it on sale and annoyed me daily until I bought it for her, for an early valentines day gift. I am glad I did. She wears it constantly and brags about how warm she is when she wears this coat. She loves it and never wants to take it off. Her only complaint is that the cuff of the sleeve gets stuck to the Velcro along the zipper and it is causing the cuff on the sleeve to become very frayed and is starting to ruin the elastic cuff.

I have many cold weather coats and they're all EB's. I've had some over 50 years and still dig them out and wear them. They are still made in the traditional quality they originally were. They are truly a product that can be handed down to the next generation. They use premium products that perform the way they were intended.

This is a warm jacket. Wear it when I go out in the coldest of weather. Don't feel the cod at all.

This is my first Eddie Baur jacket and I am impressed with quality. The jacket is warm and well insulated. I like the style as well. It is snug but I don't mind thay. The only thing I would change is to get rid of the velcro and replace it with buttons. Velcro sticking to my gloves is annoying.

This is by far the warmest coat I have ever owned and it's not extremely puffy. Very effective coat!

Wear it faithfully especially when it rains i just take off the fur and put my hood on i keep it pushing love it cause it's rain replent

Best down jacket I have ever owned. Extremely warm. Fits well.. Waterproof. Looks great. Hood is well fitted unlike like other reviewers. I see no problem with the Velcro. I got this one for my wife after I bought one last month. I was lucky enough to get it on Black Friday pricing which made it even a better deal. Overall great jacket - forgot to mention numerous pockets that men love to have. I wore it yesterday to have breakfast with a friend on super cold day & after he tried it on, he bought one for himself .

Just got the product but coming from a Canada Goose. The quality is good. Has Lots of pockets stitching is good. YKK zipper, Storm cuffs are better than CG's as far as can tell. machine washable sick of paying in 70 plus dollars to dry clean a CG now
