Fit and feel are perfect. I have many pairs of First Ascent shorts but the inseams are 9" and they have too many pockets. 8" inseam dress appropriate shorts are hard to find. These were the only 8" inseam, no extra pockets, belt loop shorts I found anywhere. I'd love more color choices.

Really nice pants. The material is light weight and very comfortable. The length is just right for me. Washed them once after wear and they came out looking brand new. My one concern is the pockets. Could rip if you put the wrong item in your pocket. I bought two pairs. Glad that I did.

These shorts are perfect. I'm 5'11" 180 lbs, semi-athletic build. I bought these in 34 and fit is great. They hit just above my knee - not too short, not too long. Please add a darker khaki color!

I am 6'2" and these fit as they are described. I am used to wearing cargo shorts and my wife wanted me to grab some dressier shorts. 8" is ok, I have to get used to showing that much leg!

Really liked the shorts after trying them on and around the house. The challenge came when preparing to leave the house and go out for an evening. The front and back pockets are too small for a large cell phone (S23 Ultra) and I ultimately returned them. It's too bad, I really did want to keep them.

Have worn EB shorts for years. XL size always fits fine. These shorts were considerably smaller and therefore not useable for me. I have over 8 pairs of EB shorts from past years in an XL that fit great, if not slightly on the large size. Don't know what EB did with sizing, but if this is the norm, you have lost a long term customer.
