I'm normally an xs in all Eddie Bauer products but I had to go to a medium for this coat I have broad shoulders which made the fit of my normal size a little snug and had to size up to medium

I needed a new "big coat", i.e. a coat for those days when it's -30C to -40C or for winter events when I'm just standing around. I purchased this coat in black in a size L. I normally where a size L or M, depending on the style/cut (I'm 5'5" 155 pounds). When I tried it on it was too big, but not big enough to feel like I was wearing a duvet, so I kept it. The main trouble for me though was that the outer fabric was like a magnet for dog hair. I have a border collie and a Golden retriever and I was continually using a roller to remove the Golden's hair. I decided to try another colour so ordered the onyx, thinking that at least the dog hair wouldn't show as much. I also ordered it in a size M. It's absolutely perfect. The outer fabric is a different composition to the black one's and the dog hair doesn't cling to it at all. During a recent cold snap this winter the temp dropped to the low -30's and this coat was comfortable when walking the dogs and when standing around throwing a ball for them. The black Size L will be useful when my daughter flies in to visit in the winter, so she won't need to bring a heavy coat with her.

I was looking for a coat that would keep me toasty during the coldest days in winter, and this coat fits the bill! Plus it looks great and is not cumbersome to get in and out of. I love it! Even better that it was on clearance so it was a great value for the price!

Bought this for my daughter headed off to college in Nebraska. She will experience her first truly cold winter. The jacket is warm, comfortable, and cute. She likes it and we both love the tall sizing. Makes such a huge difference on sleeve length and coverage.

I haven't had a chance to wear but it seems to be of good quality, very warm and has a comfortable feeling nit being stuffed or overly warm. I say this because I tried it on at home when I first got it.

I really like this jacket, it's super warm and very comfortable, but dog hair sticks to it like a magnet! I would not recommend this jacket if you have dogs in your life, especially a light-colored dog if you've purchased the black jacket like I have!

Love the material, pattern and fit. The hood fits comfortably, not big and overhanging. This fits on the large size, as I have broad shoulders I normally size up, but could easily size down one size. Definitely keeps me warm in negative digit weather. Would love to have the plaid also.

I absolutely love this coat. A little warm in 20 degree weather if you are going on a rigorous walk but in colder weather it is perfect. This coat is very warm and comfortable. I like that is has a pattern and not just plain like so many other coats I have. I am 5'3" and 145 pounds and the medium fits well even if I wear a thicker fleece top underneath.

The quality is everything expected, and it's so cozy! I love this jacket. I wish it had a couple of extra pockets, but the deep softly lined pockets are adequate for my needs.
