This is a medium weight vest. It fits great (and I'm busty) in all areas. The only drawback is I wish the hood was detachable. But I kept the vest anyway because it was well made & fit great.

Warm, heavier for colder weather

I had to go up one size, so I returned the xtra lg that I initially bought. With the sale price, I got an additional one. So I got two for the price of one. Bought the khaki and the black. I love these vests. Very warm for the winter. Good for spring and fall as well.

I absolutley love this vest. I am 5'3"--110 lbs--petite. Originally I ordered the XS and it fit nicely, but I exchanged it for a S as I knew I would wear heavier clothing under it. I am much happier with the fit. Exchange per mail was quick and prompt. This is a perfect vest for layering when you do not need a coat yet. The hood and warm neck is awesome. For me, it would be to bulky to wear hiking. I prefer the First Ascent vest line for that. I love to travel in it, but I am mindful of were I am going and how much extra room I have as it does not pack down very well. I would still recommend this item. I have the black but am going to order the caper color. I have seen it in the store and its a beautiful green that will blend with so many colors. It is so warm and cozy--I did not think I would like the hood, but it does a great job at keeping the wind out. It would be nice if the hood was detachable. You will love this vest!!

Very nice looking vest. I ordered the capers color. Love the color. I normally do not like vests with hoods. This is a very stylish vest. Also, very comfortable. It does run slightly large.

The best vest I have ever purchased. It is a very stylish vest but it is all the small details that made me decide on buying a second vest. I love the fleece lined pockets. The collar on the neck. The pocket on the inside with a zipper. The extra ribbon below the zipper so the zipper can't ever get caught. The buttons are very secure. Love that it is a longer vest for myself to cover my butt. It is such a warm vest and I love that I can use it for the outdoors or dress it up and use it for a fancier event. 10/10 recommend.

I wanted a good quality down vest because I'm moving to Montana from Texas. I've always enjoyed the freedom of movement (with warmth) of a thermal down vest. This one doesn't disappoint. I love this shade of green…very happy with this purchase

The only thing I would want different about the vest is the hood. I wish I could zip it off for a dressier look.

I'm not a vest person but I really wanted a puffy vest that would go with anything for shoulder weather and this is it. A vest is the perfect option to get in the beige color if you like neutral, off-white tones but don't want to be driven mad by dirt on sleeve cuffs. I love the bonded channels instead of sewn seams and the fit is relaxed, true-to-size, with room to layer.

So warm! So cute! I love this vest. I got the brown color, it looks good with everything. It's very flattering. Sometimes extra poofy vests can make me look chunky but this one is so cute!

The vest is a little big but I LOVE it. It's comfortable and thick. I can wear a long sleeve and still be warm. Definitely will be using it for my morning walks.

This just arrived and it's so much better than I expected! I never shop for clothes online, but the spring deal made this vest more affordable, and I really wanted down insulation to keep me warm in the chilly shoulder season. It fits well (size M regular, I'm 5'3" 130lbs) with room for layers underneath; the feel of the fabric is soft, the colour is great, the hood fits snugly (not huge like some hoodies).. I bought Eddie Bauer because my partner has an older EB down vest, and I've been wearing it around the house (it's giant on me)--my only disappointment is there isn't the same fleece-lined inner neck part, which is so cozy on his vest. But all in all, I'm very pleased with this purchase, and would definitely recommend it!
