I haven't had an opportunity to try out the electric heater portion of this jacket yet, but I have worn it just as a regular down coat and it is nice and warm. Had it out in light rain the other day and it did a good job of shedding water as well. If the heating portion is half as good as the coat itself, I will be more than happy. Especially since I got it at a great sale price.

Even on its own this jacket is extremely warm. Great jacket and the rechargeable battery is helpful. This jacket is going to very cold places with me.

Love this jacket. You need to purchase a charger for the battery, it is not included. I also recommend putting in standby mode when not using or else it sucks the battery. I've enjoyed for casual walking and being outside. I can see this also doing well for skiing.

I have used the heated jacket while walking my dog. She loves the cold weather. I am planning to use at college football games next year.

This is the best heated jacket I've owned. I use it for umpiring curling. It is a nice fit and it is warm but lightweight. The battery is tiny compared to the honkers I have from Dewalt. Comfortable. I am 5' 7" and 165lb. I fit a L.

Sweet jacket! It's not the typical cheap heated jacket. Paired it with an app and told it how warm my wife life to be. It's shuts off when she goes into a store so she doesn't get too hot, and then once we step back outside it kicks back on to keep the perfect temp. Kinda a set it up and forget it.

Great Warm Jacket but it didn't come with a battery pack, is there a way to get one?

We use this for a 1-3 hour walk in woods with our dog in the winter. We've not had any issues with the battery over three hours. Temperatures work as indicated and for the past week with wind chills around 20-24 F in the morning, this has worked great.

Since I didn't receive any directions with the jacket, the learning curve was difficult. Many interactions with clim8 was no help. I did finally find a directions manual, and now am able to control the heat, I am disappointed with the heat distribution - just around neck and shoulder, nothing for the hands. All in all the quality of jacket and fabric, I am keeping it. I like that you can operate the heat without the app by tapping the jacket button.

It feels like a quality jacket but the heating elements are only at the shoulders. Could use more heating elements. Or heating lower near my core. Spot clean only.

Very puffy, felt a little too big all over. It didn't come with a battery so I can't comment on how it works. Returned. Not buying another.

I'm very disappointed the Thermal Women's Coat does not include a charger to charge the coat. Without a connector the charging of the coat cannot be charged. The connector is included on the men's version. Why isn't it included?

I love the fit and finish on this jacket. However the battery pocket is right below breast and makes a rather lumpy appearance there- would be better in the pocket! I am medium tech savvy- and cannot figure out how to make this provide a consistent warmth or temp. Also it turns on whenever there is movement, sit still and you freeze. I have had no trouble pairing, the heating directions are worthless - just endless "how good we are" statements. And, the heat, hot as heck at the neck and back, none on the front that I feel and NONE in the pockets. App-only control-take off gloves to work app, now the hands are cold… prior to buying I contacted EB for info on the battery, they were unable to answer my question (proprietary battery or can I use any battery pack? proprietary is the answer). They escalated the questions promised an answer in 24 hrs, one week later I received email saying the joys of this coat, no answer at all.

Jacket is very nice but like many other reviews, it did not come with the lithium battery pack or charger. I couldn't find one on my own that was that brand. I contacted Eddie Bauer and their solution was to return the entire coat and reorder. I doubt it would come for the second order so just don't hassle with buying this.

Nice jacket, however the Clim8 lithium battery and charger were not included as advertised.

Used the coat in -8 kept warm however battery only lasted 2 hours on eco mode The concept is a great idea but with a small battery life and an app the crashes it has some ways to go before being usable To be able to use the coat for a full day In the outdoors you'll need 4+ batteries

Heater object would not work. Could not sync to phone or get to operate.

I will not buy anything of this sort from EDDIE BAUER ever again. The and the quality is horrible. Also, please be aware you will have to pay $7 for return shipping. I think Eddie Bauer just lost

The Jacket does not get that warm it only heats the upper back and neck area
