I love this hat ! It fits great, and is a bit larger than other styles.

The hat is lightweight and easily packs anywhere. I found it great for keeping the sun off my head and face. The drawstring makes sure you don't lose It in the wind or while riding a bike.

Nice and light weight

The brim of this hat slopes down instead of straight out which I like. Less goofy looking. Also super breathable allowing your head to not get soaked with sweat.

I was looking for a hat for those times I didn't want to where a ball cap. This gives great protection and is cool with the vents built in. It also folds up so you can take it anywhere.

Fits, blocks the sun, has a chin-strap for windy days (that can be hidden with the Velcro on the inside), and has vents. Love the navy.

I was looking to replace men's fishing hat that my husband and I left at a hotel in Indianapolis. The hat belonged to a deceased relative and so was a treasure and I tried to retrieve it but had no success. So I looked for a similar hat and Eddie Bauer came through very well. This fishing hat is identical and works perfectly, thanks!

The boonie is a little larger size than expected, but it still keeps the sun off most of the head and in particular the ears.

Very light, and comfortable. Excellent ventilation keeps head cool.

Easy to care for

Fits well, breathable, lightweight, collapses easily to fit in suitcase. Under chin ties are comfortable and keep hat in place. Sunblock is an added bonus.

This is my second Exploration Boonie Hat. I decided to get one in a second color because wear it all the time when I'm out walking, hiking etc. It protects from the sun and has some ventilation which helps here in the South.
