I bought these on sale for a hiking trip for my son without realizing he had a pair already, but I have heard so many good things about their usefulness I am keeping them for myself. I was grateful for previous reviews mentioning that opening the final section is tricky. It was but I managed to figure it out. I like that they are collapsible for travel.

My husband has Long Haul Covid which has left him with significant balance issues. Using trekking poles increases his stability and stamina. I got these for him for Christmas and they've been with him whenever he walks since. He loves the way they easily fold and are out of the way when we go to restaurants. or travel, then quickly extend back to his preferred settings when he needs them. Hint to the person who cannot figure out how to extend them: my husband went to the manufacturer website and the instructions were there.

I am currently planning a future national park trip and hope to use these poles then. I am very pleased about the sturdiness of the poles. I was worried about the poles collapsing when on steep slopes but now I don't believe this is an issue. They break down to an easy carry size and they are suitcase packable. A little pricey, but wait for a sale like I did. Very nice for tall people like us.

My second pair of EB trekking poles. My sister hikes, and needed a pair, so I gave her my 1st pair. She loves them. I purchased this on sale, and was able to use my adventure rewards, so win-win.

These are awesome! I got them on sale and had a rewards so they were about $40 with shipping/tax. Well worth the money. We recently went to Washington and Canada, and these came in handy. They break down easy enough for travel and super easy to assemble when needed. Very light - highly recommend.

I bought a set for myself, and liked them so much that I bought a set for my husband as well. We have tried them out, and find that they really help to alleviate knee and hip pain as well as providing good stability on uneven surfaces. Planning to take them with us on a trip to Europe, so it is wonderful that they fit in a suitcase!

I bought these in preparation for a trip to Iceland. It was suggested we bring trekking poles for various tours. The first pair I received were damaged. The return process was awkward (you have to return, then pay shipping and repurchase, then notify them you bought new ones and they reapply your discount). These were a great deal when they were on sale! I couldn't pass it up considering the cheaper ones would have been the same price, but questionable quality. I haven't tried them out yet, but I wish they were delivered in time for First Hike 1/1/2023.

We ended up buying two set of these for our trip to Europe. They pack in luggage easily and were welcome at all historic sites in Greece. A huge help on uneven terrain and climbs. They fit nicely in our Ripstop Sling backpacks, so when not needed we simply slung them over our backs. The rip stop sling bags handled the poles, a spare jacket and bottle of water.

Purchased for a trip to Spain to walk the Camino de Frances. These poles were the perfect folding size, easy to operate, attractive and helped reduce pressure on knees. Liked them so much that I purchased a second pair.

Purchased the trekking poles for my trip to Spain to walk the Camino de Frances. The poles folded down to a great packing size, were sturdy, easy to operate and quickly became my best investment for the 500 mile pilgrimage. In fact i liked them so much that I purchased a second set to use when staying in our Arizona home.

I had never used trekking poles before, but so glad I bought them for this trip! Used them for a 12 mile hike in the mountains and they were a life saver! I had knee issues at times to wanted to help take some pressure off of my legs/knees. Not only did they help in this case, but they helped me feel more balanced while on rocks and uneven surfaces. The handles were comfy and my hands weren't sore after gripping them for 8 hours. They fold up into the perfect size to fit into my backpack too! Would definitely recommend!

I haven't used these yet, so I cannot speak to the long-term durability. However, we are going to AZ and Palm Springs for some hiking in the next few months and I wanted collapsible poles that would fit in a carry-on sized bag. These definitely fit the bill. Please know that you have to pull the lower sections way out for the "hidden button" - otherwise it seems they won't stay connected. Once you do that, they're great. Also, I saw someone my height say these were too long; not sure why that is; they are perfect and can even go shorter.

I needed poles that were not the top quality professional kind with huge price tag, as I only occasionally hike. I was impressed with the packability of these poles and the longevity. I have purchase 2 sets, the first I gave away to the guide in Central America after climbing 2 volcanos. I got back and immediately purchase another set.

Before buying, I saw the reviews about these being hard to figure out... I totally agree. Aside from the secret section you have to locate and slide open to use, they are very user friendly.

I wanted some poles for travel/walking that were packable yet sturdy. These seemed to fit the bill--the price was right and they are quite well made. It would be nice if they were a bit lighter weight, but I think that would sacrifice quality.
