Best pair of hiking boots I've ever owned, by far. I wear these boots to work all day for support and comfort. They accommodate other insoles well, offer great ankle support and the tread was great all winter long. Warm, but also totally fine to wear in warmer weather. Want to repurchase but my size is out of stock. PLEASE DO NOT STOP MAKING THESE! They are seriously the best on all fronts and worth every penny.

Fit is marvelous..some stretching, but still after all these miles, still feel sturdy and supportive. I use insoles and these accommodate quite well, where other brands don't. Would buy again

Purchased these for my better half. She really liked my EB high cut I recently purchased and were fantastic on our trip to the Smoky Mts. Great fit, light weight, more ankle support than the mid cut. They look real nice also.

Purchased a pair for my wife as I already have two pairs of the mens version and love them. now she loves them too. Incredible value if purchased in the sale and as good as boots costing a lot more.

I bought this for my wife and she had a different pair of EB boots for the winter but she needed one as a back up so I wanted to get one which was higher above the ankle and this was ideal. I really like the waterproofness of the boot material and this also had support on the inside for the ankle and the front of the toes. So overall my wife loved it.

These boots did not need to be broken in. First time I wore them, it was perfect. My feet never hurt wearing these. No blisters or weird rubbing like some shoes give you. 10/10. I love these boots.

i could not love these hiking boots more. they are supremely comfortable straight out of the box and my feet don't sweat in them so they are very breathable. if they still had my size i would get another one. i love them that much!

Absolutely excellent. Sturdy and comfortable, with excellent support. I have recently taken up hiking (at my advanced age) and I bought these hiking boots on a whim - well, that whim was a great idea. I can, and do, walk for a few miles in these boots. I would buy another pair the day after tomorrow, and I hope EB does not discontinue them!

These boots are comfortable, sturdy and I like the look of them. The 7.5 are a little big for my thin feet but leave room for thick winter or hiking socks.

I bought these to replace 15-year-old leather hiking boots that had finally lost all waterproofing. I needed warm, waterproof boots for gentle hiking, dog walking and working on our farm. They were comfortable right out of the box! My first outing was in 18 degree weather (no snow) and for the hour long walk my feet were perfectly warm (not toasty/sweaty) with a light pair of wool socks. I had been using alpaca boot liners and alpaca socks in my old boots. There was no "breaking in" period with these boots and they are so comfortable that I hesitate to take them off when I come inside! I purchased them for wearing around the farm but they are so comfortable and good looking that I've worn them into town for errands and meetings. We own a small business with a retail shop and I will definitely be wearing these for those colder days when I'm on my feet in the shop all day. I'm curious to see how they work in the warmer months for working in the garden and shop and whether my feet get too warm. I have slightly narrow feet so was pleased that my feet aren't swimming in a "M" size boot. And also flat feet, so sometimes footwear with "arch support" has too much support for me but that is not the case, these boots are perfect! Based on my experience with this purchase (my first time purchasing footwear from Eddie Bauer), I ordered a low cut summer hiking shoe and a low cut trail running shoe. I love the quality and value with the 50% off sale price. I would not have purchased them at full price since I'm ot using them for intense winter hiking so couldn't have justified the full price for my more casual use. But at the sale price these boots are packed full of features and looks that justify the purchase for a more casual user.

Best winter boots and fit my feet well (narrow ankle but wider in the toe box). Great and winter hiking or just walking around the city. Bought a second pair because I like them so much.
