It's perfect for the many uses I intend to wear it for (hiking, skiing when I don't need a jacket), camping, etc) It fits well while leaving some room to wear a sweater or sweatshirt underneath when I don't need a jacket - love it!!

Love the length, even for a tall person. The fabric is soft and feels great.

I previously reviewed this vest giving a negative review. Previously I laundered (washed and dried) the vest according to the manufacturer's instructions and the garment came out clumped and flat. I put the garment back in the dryer with 3 TENNIS BALLS and placed on Air only for about 10 minutes. The vest came back to life! I can now take it to Iceland. Moral of the Review: Dry on delicate with 3 Clean Tennis Balls.

Nice vest for layering in cold and more moderate temperatures

This is such a cozy vest, I love it. It's warm with a great hood. It will be really nice over wool sweaters when driving or just running errands in and out of the car and you don't need a full bulky coat. My only complaint is the the pockets are not very deep, too small. Bought it at the end of the season for a really good price. Can't wait to wear it more next winter.

I purchased 3 insulated vests this past winter and this one is the most plush and comfortable. At 5' 9" I thought I would need a tall size, but the women's regular falls perfectly at my hips. I chose the pumice color to lighten up my dark winter outfits and to provide a bright visual for safe traveling at night. It's a classy color that is not a bright white or a dull gray. The hood fits snugly and the pockets are lined with warm fabric. This "puffier" style is suitable for colder temperatures and is still easy to wear while driving. It has real down and feather insulation. I like the wider arm holes to accommodate hoodies and thick sweaters. I don't feel restricted in the shoulders and tops don't bunch up at the underarms. This is a boxy style vest with no hem adjustment, so it's not slimming. The 2xl fits nicely for women sized 16-18. The zipper and snap closures keep the warmth in and the pockets are deep enough to hold my cellphone and keys. I caught the best sale price of the year on this vest. The EB quality is evident and it should last through years of wear and washings. Hopefully, I can avoid getting stains and oils on the beautiful fabric. I am ready for next winter and I highly recommend this EB Women's Essential Down Vest!

The vest is very warm! It does look a little boxy while wearing but it keeps me warm!

Bulky vest so it is an outer layer, but fits well over sweaters. I am on the S/M boundary and got a M (I am busty but 60 kg / 170 cm) and it is correct - a S would be too small. It is only slightly oversized as an outer layer vest. Bonus points that my cat loves it - if I sit down and have it unzipped she is inside it on my chest instantly! Bulky fill but warm, I've been using it outdoors over a wool sweater by -10 C and it's cozy.

I really like this puffy vest. It is a matte navy; not shiny or slick. It keeps me warm and the hood helps when it is windy.

I wish there was a tall option when I purchased. I do a lot of driving, so not having to take a coat on and off in the car, and it keeps me warm outside. The hood fits nice. Not too small like most.

Would love to see this vest be made with 2 inner pockets. Vest pocket is shallow with a vertical (north to south) opening with velcrow closure. Would have preferred a drop in opening with a zipper closure.

Most vests do not have hoods and I particularly like this one because it has a hood. It is a warm vest which one would wear out in the cold, even snow so it is nice to have a hood. It is warm but because it has no sleeves, it can be worn on a cool Spring day.

Very nice fit and the quality of the stitching, zippers, pockets, etc are excellent.

I purchased this vest to replace the same one I've had for over 6 years that is in tatters. I like the newer styling. I like that it's slightly oversized for layering. I do wish the inner pocket was a bit bigger. Overall I love the look and feel of it, fluffy and very warm. Zippered pockets are a must.

I first bought the large, but it was tight in my chest, not much room for layers. I returned it and purchased the XL. It fits much better and allows for layers underneath. it fits great, I wear it foe walks at about 40 F.

This vest is actually thicker and warmer than expected. I love the hood. It fits great over a fleece or midweight sweatshirt for cold days. I got the bone color and it's great, kind of a grayish white that matches just about anything.
