Nice top for hiking,layering, and versatile for traveling. I have many of the Escapelite long sleeve shirts and was pleased to find a short sleeve version!

Love the quality and material. Can be dressed up or down. Fits great!

These shirts are really nice. They travel well and dry quickly. They fit well because they have darts. Darts make clothes hang better and I always look for shirts with them. More darts, please.

My favorite everyday shirt, great to dress up or down and works in any weather. I live in a swamp and this light breathable fabric is perfect for the hot humid summers. I have one in every color.

Working out & everyday wear

I now own 5 of these shirts in solid colors. This Escapelite fabric and style is almost identical to the EB Departure T-shirt, but I like this one a wee bit better since it has a fabric neckline, and the departure T has a knit one. I own 21 items of the Departure / Escapelite lines, that's how much I love them! They are very light weight, cool to wear and packs up very well. I will mention on each review how to handle the packaging creases, since they don't go away when washed/dried. JUST ONCE you will need to iron out the creases. After the ONE TIME ironing your item will be wrinkle/crease free forever. My preferred method is to wash it and while damp, iron it on wool setting, no steam. Or you can dry it, then iron it on wool with steam. That's it, just iron once to remove the stubborn creases forever. Perfection!

This is the second one I bought. Nice cool fabric on these hot and muggy days. Washes up nice too. Ready to wear right out of the dryer. No wrinkles

This T was so great I bought it in 4 colors while on sale! They are cool and comfortable for exercise or warm weather.

I have 5 of these shirts. The colors are soft looking and pretty. I am a 36DD and the medium "just fits" meaning a large would be a little too big but the medium works for me until I lose those last 10 pounds. The fabric is light weight but not thin to where I would have to wear something underneath except for perhaps the snow colored one. That is debatable for me. Wash up nice and can be worn casual or dressed up. I wear these tops with the Sightscape Horizon slim straight leg pants and I think this is a winning combination. The shirt has enough room around the bottom to cover most midsection imperfections without being boxy.

I bought this in white and I find it very flattering. The neckline is great to show off simple jewelry. The shape flairs slightly on the bottom so that this hangs well without clinging. The fabric allows it to be used for a slightly dressier casual style. I would buy this in more solid colors if there were any.

Love, love, love this shirt. I actually bought the 2 plaid colors. Looks so much better on than in the picture. Actually purchased from the outlet store so I was able to try on first. I was so pleasantly surprised because the plaids don't look that great till you try them on. Wish there were more solid colors. I would have bought the white also but when I put my hand in, I felt like you could see thru somewhat. I get compliments on these plaid shirts every time I wear them. Don't be scared to pick the plaid. Again, so much prettier on than picture looks. Do not normally write a review but I love this shirt. Eddie Bauer: come out with more colors!!!

FYI - The "Escapelite" line by EB Outlet is the same fabric as the "Departure" line by non-outlet Eddie Bauer. Same silk-like fabric, but slightly different styles, and I LOVE them both. Great for travel and very cool on hot days. I own 2 of these shirts from EB and just got the snow (white) one here, so 3 in all. And if EB Outlet carried more SOLID colors I'd be buying more. I HATE the plaids and prints offered here. While this is a t-shirt it can be dressed up a bit since the fabric is silk-like and drapes nicely. Even with the chest pocket, if I add a long necklace, and nice sandals I'll feel dressed up. As in all products of the Escapelite (or Departure) lines, when you get them there will be packaging creases & wrinkles that won't come out in the washer and dryer. Just iron it ONCE (medium heat with steam), and no more wrinkles or creases FOREVER; out of the laundry and luggage wrinkle-free. I got Medium, which is my usual size (5'7", 148 lbs, 36C), and the fit is perfect, a bit loose but not sloppy. Just buy it, give it that one-time pressing and you'll love this shirt!

I would have liked a size medium, but purchased the small because they didn't have the medium in stock in the store. Fabric is nice, but can't get factory wrinkles out of it!! I'll size up next time and try to live with the one I have.

Wrote a previous review on first one, same comments. Good for casual, hi king, etc. also word and going out. Material takes a little getting use to.

I like the Escapelite fabric and this was no exception - it seemed like it would travel well. The white, though, was still slightly transparent so I'm returning. I may try in a different color.

Ordered in white. Not terribly see-through, but the material felt odd and the pocket and hems made the shirt look different than the picture. It was kind of ugly to me. I would not call this a t-shirt at all.

Disappointed in the stitching of the dart. Color is great, though

I would never wear this hiking. Non-stretch hospital scrub like material. Returned.
