This was a gift for family.

Purchased these a size too big, mainly because they were available and on sale at a good clearance price. I wear these to work as a house-call physician, so the 'business casual' look is utilitarian and fine. This pair is black; in the past that has been a slightly risky color due to the tendency to pick-up and show pet hair or whatever else I sit in or brush by in peoples homes, but it has been a little better than average at not collecting every stray bit of fluff. Since I am up and down but sitting for much of the day, the larger size accommodates the out-of-shape waistline I've acquired, and the 'slim' fit means they aren't too bulky in the leg/thigh. They are too big, a 45" would have been better, but that size isn't available; this size is an unusual find, a lot of EB pants stop at 40" waist. I'm satisfied.

Well executed flat-front design; I bought in a waist size 2" larger than usual, in part because they are 'slim' per the description and I feared they may be too tight other wise. I could have gotten the 44" as it turns out (though a 44-1/2" is closer to my waist size at present. They run true to size and didn't seem to shrink a lot when washed in cold water and dried on low heat, if at all. My only issue with the pants is the same as with any black 'Khaki' I've owned: they tend to show all the lint and animal (pet) hair that can often be present in the client homes I visit for work. A handy lint roller is useful. I had a navy colored pair previously that tended to pick up pet hair also. Surprisingly, one other navy pair I purchased didn't pick up so much. I'm not sure why they were different, as I believe both were the same fabric blend; maybe they actually were different in a way I don't understand. If any more significant pet-hair trapping than average is present, I'll amend this review.

The fit on these is outstanding, and is consistent from pair to pair. I bought several colours and they all fit the same.

Eddie Bauer is my choice for pants/jeans - they seem to fit me best. These are my favorite chinos/khakis. They look and fit great and don't need ironing out of the dryer. A good value (especially on sale).

I bought these pants for my husband to wear to work. He loves the fit, they are easy to care for and they look great for the office.

I am very hard on these pants. I wear them at work in an office environment, but many times I am out with the guys on the job and I am pretty hard on the pants. After 2-3 years they are still holding up to my abuse.

I purchased these for my adult son for work about 2 months ago, and I am back purchasing again today. Not for the reason one would think. Because I called from work to tell me the seam let go in the crotch while working. They are beautiful pants with a nice weight and finish, but I would have never expected them to rip the seam in only 2 months of once a week wear. Anyway, because they are a good pant, I figured we'll try again.

First time buying pants from Eddie Bauer. I have friends and family that swear by these products so I figured it would be safe. I have own 3 pairs for only about 2 months and all 3 are coming apart at the seam under the zipper. I am extremely disappointed as they are very comfortable, look good and are easy to care for. I was considering returning and reordering however after have an extremely poor customer service experience I am likely going to return them and find another company to purchase my items from.
