While I like the Women's Escapelite shorts better because they have deep pockets and these Tidal shorts only have a back zip pocket, I still liked these shorts. Great color in royal plum, fit is true to size and comfortable. They are easy to clean and quick drying, and they look great. Would recommend purchasing, especially when they're on sale. Highly recommended.

These are very cute shorts, but I bought them thinking they were swim shorts with a liner inside. They do NOT have a liner, so I will have to find another solution.

The material is perfect for swimming. Unfortunately, they so NOT have a liner. I'm normally a medium and ordered a small but they were still too big.

So at what point would you advertise a swim short with a 3" inseam THAT DOES NOT HAVE A LINER.!!!!! This is themes ridiculous change to the most amazing product they make - wet/dry swimmable shorts!!! If you have to wear swim bottoms or underwear underneath, then they are not swim shorts. They are just shorts.

I absolutely love Eddie bauer's tidal shorts. I have several colors from last season thankfully..I am so upset that the new version is SO short with a 3 inch inseam. My shorts from last season will last awhile, but I really really hope they bring back the regular 5 inch version next year. 5 inch is the perfect length to feel comfortable hiking, as a swim cover up, or just every day wear/taking my kids to the park, etc. please bring them back!
